Gold background with Heart of Gold spelled out in Scrabble letters

For today, I shall be much better. I AM born to shift my family’s trajectory towards WEALTH. Things which interested me in my youth such as: watches (my dad had a Seiko), pens (dad had a Mont Blanc), style & fitness, and true quality in everything I experience is proof that I exist to experience the VERY BEST in life. Only WEALTH makes that possible.

One of the greatest feelings as a father thus far was Eliana calling me back to her room last night after I checked on Nilah while she slept. She called me back to thank me for teaching her about money, wealth, and giving from her heart. Moments earlier I’d talked to her about the gift that she wants to give the kid she’s tasked to mentor on the second day of school. She’s the big kid now, welcoming a new arrival to elementary school.

She ran up to us excided at Thalia yesterday with two small items she wanted to get for the child, with her own money. Natalie protested because of cost–we’re talking only a few Euros–and Eliana was pissed. I explained to Eliana that she was giving from the heard and cost should never, EVER be a factor. We agreed that she will get the items with her own money; she will clean up around the house and I’ll pay her. I will take her to Thalia so she can buy the gifts. She’s even sewing a custom shoulder bag for them on her sewing machine. I love that girl and her big heart.

My less to her was that she should be in the habit of giving generously from the heart when she has a little, so she’ll be used to it when she has millions and can make an impact at scale. Wealth, class, and a deep sense of EMPATHY are a perfect combination.

Slowing Down

Pablo Picasso’s famous quote reflects my exact mindset these days: “Never permit a dichotomy to rule your life, a dichotomy in which you hate what you do so you can have pleasure in your spare time. Look for a situation in which your work will give you as much happiness as your spare time.”

No Pretension.

I chose the tag line “No Pretension” for good reason: confidence, humbleness, and humility should happily coexist in my life. It’s something I want to keep at the forefront of my mind regardless of the level of mastery I attain.
