Journal Entry: 5 MAY 2019 at 23:48 (Gratitude)

I AM thankful for this retreat that Nat and the girls are on. I believe it’s given us time to clear our heads and Spirits. I’m positive my body as well since I’ve been fasting and abstaining from lots of sugar and carbs–I just don’t have a desire for them.

I create my reality based on my perception. When the washing machine broke yesterday, I did not panic nor complain; I paused and turned my heart towards gratitude.

I was thankful that the washing machine lasted this long, and for the opportunity to surprise my family with a brand-new one.

I was thankful that we have water & detergent for me to wash clothes by hand and dry them in our dryer which still works.

I was thankful for my wonderful clients who proudly pay from my stellar service.

I was thankful for a new opportunity to figure things out.

I AM thankful for the Miele WDB 005 WCS and the beautiful setup on Amazon that allows me to buy it this coming week. BLESSED!

Slowing Down

Pablo Picasso’s famous quote reflects my exact mindset these days: “Never permit a dichotomy to rule your life, a dichotomy in which you hate what you do so you can have pleasure in your spare time. Look for a situation in which your work will give you as much happiness as your spare time.”

No Pretension.

I chose the tag line “No Pretension” for good reason: confidence, humbleness, and humility should happily coexist in my life. It’s something I want to keep at the forefront of my mind regardless of the level of mastery I attain.
